

Janice M. Clark, 58 of Fremont, Ohio died early Wednesday morning, September 21, 2005, at her residence. She was born on March 23, 1947 to Rev. Clarence and D. Maxine (Saxer) Thornton in Fort Scott, Kansas. Janice was a graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield, MO and Bowling Green State University with both bachelors and masters degrees in education. On July 6, 1968 she married Jerald F. Clark in Findlay, Ohio and he survives. Janice was a math and reading specialist at Hilfiker Elementary School until her retirement in January 2005. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Fremont. Surviving are daughters, Heather Noel (Jon) Bame of Findlay, Andrea Elizabeth (Tim) Depinet of Bowling Green, Ohio; her parents of Findlay; sister, Dr. Joyce Lorraine Thornton of Marion, Ind.; brother, Clarence Leon Thornton of Bluffton, Ohio; grandchildren, Madeline and Brynn Depinet. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and cremation services, Gibsonburg, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Community Church with Rev. Kevin Pinkerton officiating. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg. Memorial donations in Janice’s name may be made to Grace Community Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital. |
